SOS International LLC Senior Network Administrator in Fort Huachuca, Arizona

Overview

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is currently seeking a Senior Network Administrator (WAN) in Fort Huachuca, AZ . The Senior Network Administrator reports to the WAN Branch Manager and monitors WAN network critical infrastructure assets and circuits for the WAN Team.

Essential Job Duties

  • Responsible for ensuring the organization's Wide Area Network (WAN) infrastructure and related systems are well maintained, and operate reliably and securely.

  • Perform regular systems and security monitoring, provisioning, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

  • Perform administration, operations, maintenance, and support of WAN infrastructure, routers, firewalls, Ethernet switches and related systems.

  • Responsible for following relevant processes, procedures, and standards.

  • Provide technical support related to assigned systems within their organization and to outside customers as needed.

  • Handle patches and upgrades to ensure that systems are maximally efficient, effective, and secure.

  • Provide support and guidance to junior network staff and may be asked to supervise a shift or team of network administrators.

  • Working within a team environment performing daily management of firewall and other network changes.

  • Providing daily management, troubleshooting, and support of networking related issues, establish and maintain relationships with internal and external users Implementing the necessary tools to proactively troubleshoot and where necessary assist and provide support to third parties to solve network connectivity problems.

  • Working in a team environment to manage the installation of products and resources to meet the needs and requirements of our WAN and LAN network-based services.

  • Optimizing the availability of network system architectures to deliver cost effective improvements that in turn deliver tangible business benefits.

  • Must be willing to participate in 7x24 shift and on call rotation.

  • Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, multiplexers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways etc.

  • Deals with pressure and conflict decisively and effectively.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active in scope SECRET clearance with T5 investigation or the ability to obtain Interim SECRET T5 eligibility.

  • HS +6 yrs similar technical experience or AA/AS +4, or BS/BA +2.

  • An IAT II certification (CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) is required.

  • CEH or equivalent within 60 days.

  • Knowledge of installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of Cisco Internetworking Devices.

  • Knowledge of installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of Juniper Internetworking Devices.

  • Knowledge of Standard Routing Protocols, i.e. EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, etc.

  • Knowledge of TCP/IP ports, protocols, and subnetting.

  • Network fundamentals.

  • Network services such as: DNS, DHCP, NTP, and LDAP.

  • Cybersecurity fundamentals.

  • IT Industry terminology.

  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem solving techniques.

  • Excellent oral and written communication.

  • May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable).
