We are seeking to hire Journeyman Operator - LIMA - Pashto (JO-LIMA-PU) Level 2

The Operational Language Analyst will perform a variety of tasks required to process voice and/or graphic language materials in support of SIGINT Operations.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

1.

  1. Completion of the DoD Client JBOC Course.

  2. Possession of DoD Client PGO Certification.

  3. Language Analyst Qualifications:

  4. Audio Translation: Performance at skill level 2 in audio translation from the required language(s) into idiomatic, standard American English (as per the ILR Audio Translation skill level descriptions).

  5. Experience: Equivalent of four (4) years full-time combined cryptologic language processing, related language, and/or related cryptologic experience.

  6. Acceptable cryptologic language processing experience includes tasks such as scanning, sorting, recovering essential elements of information, producing and quality control of GISTs, translations, transcripts, and drafting intelligence reports.

  7. Acceptable related language experience includes oral interpretation, written translation, audio translation, audio transcription, document exploitation, and teaching the required language.

  8. Acceptable related cryptologic experience includes target development, network analysis, speaker identification, language identification, and document exploitation involving sorting and categorizing.

  9. The contractor must provide proficiency in the following languages (subject to change based on mission requirements):

  10. Arabic - Levantine (AP)

  11. Arabic - Yemeni (AU)

  12. Arabic - Iraqi (DG)

  13. Arabic - Maghrabi (AM)

  14. Persian Farsi (PF)

  15. Pashto (PU)

  16. Russian (RU)

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $81500 - $138600

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
