About the Position: This Supervisory position is located at U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command, INFO Systems Engineering Command FT. Detrick Engineering Directorate. Responsibilities Serves as senior group leader responsible for supervision of 10-15 professional engineers, and information technology specialists and technicians. Oversees the execution of technical, administrative and personnel management responsibilities related to the accomplishment of the mission assigned. Interviews candidates and makes selections for vacant positions. Responsible for leading contract efforts in conjunction with contracting office to award and monitor IT task orders. Plans, analyzes, and conducts studies to determine most feasible methodology to meet Army requirements. Applies broad information technology knowledge and extensive experience with information systems to provide technical support advice and guidance. Develops and negotiates work and system requirements with customers and makes commitments for the organization.
