CACI has an immediate need for a Software Engineer. The Software Engineer will collaborate with the technology development team to apply agile process toward the design, development, testing and debugging of applications that enhance program of record capabilities/systems.

The Software Engineer analyzes requirements, system capabilities and provides product solutions. Works with the technology development team on the level of effort required for solutions, to include sprint planning, test readiness levels, and project scheduling.

What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Lead small projects, providing direction, training, and guidance to other team members as needed; contributing to assurance of security and accuracy of solutions provided by the team, while operating according to project schedules, with ability to work on multiple tasks.

  • Provide expertise in assessing and /or developing new technologies that are in line with current capability gaps

  • Provide expertise on technology, standards, and medical IT industry trends

  • Develop documentation for new technology insertion

  • Provide support to management in areas of technical expertise and information gathering

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

  • 7 plus years of General IT / Software development experience

  • Agile DevSecOps processes

  • Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Desktop application development

  • Windows Operating systems

  • Azure DevOps or similar systems

  • Confluence, Jira, GitLab or similar systems

  • Programming Languages: C#, JSON, ASP.NET

  • Applications, Databases, and Tools: Visual Studio, SQLite

  • Interfaces: XML, XAML, HTML, SGML, HL7, FHIR

  • Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)

  • SQL / SQLLite

  • Web Services

  • .NET Framework, SignalR

  • AES Encryption

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance is highly preferred

  • DHA electronic health record (EHR), MHS Genesis, CERNER electronic health record, EHR terminology, EHR standards, DoD encryption standards, Cyber Security requirements, Eclipse, Git, SVN, CVS, Android SDK, Entity Framework

  • Medical Systems Architecture

  • Network Architecture and Engineering

  • Hypervisors / Virtualization

  • Mirth Connect

  • Risk Management Framework (RMF)

  • Agile SAFe

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$85,800 - $180,200
