Chimera Enterprises International Contract Support Analyst in Fort Detrick, Maryland

Description. Chimera Enterprises International is seeking a Contract Support Analyst to support the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense (JPEO- CBRND) JPEO-CBRND Medical Office.  The JPEO-CBRND manages our nation’s investments in chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear defense equipment, and medical countermeasures. battlespace worldwide. This position requires a Secret clearance.

Job Duties:

  • Identify and determine the best procurement method, prepare a procurement plan, and develop necessary justifications and D&Fs.

  • Develop formal acquisition plans and perform pre-solicitation activities (e.g., market research, SBA research, etc.).

  • Assist in source selection (e.g., Best Value evaluation, cost/price analysis, etc.).

  • Work closely with the KO and COR to make contract awards, negotiate contract terms and/or modifications, and monitor candidate performance.

  • Assist the KO in completing contract closeout procedures at the conclusion of candidate performance.

  • Perform research to support protests and assist the KO in responding to protests and/or Congressional inquiries.

  • Perform research to support claims in defense of the Government or against candidates.

  • Review contract-related documents (e.g., CDRLs, purchase order documentation, RFIs, RFPs, SOWs, etc.).

  • Participate in product-level IPTs, as appropriate. 

  • Execute special projects, to include providing responses to taskers.

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • The candidate shall possess knowledge of current acquisition principles, regulations, reform, streamlining, and related topics for Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) based procurement contracts and grants.

  • The candidate shall possess a comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of software, with specific experience in effective use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to create documents, reports, and presentations.

  • Preferred: DAWIA Level III Contracting is desired. DAU courses will be at Government cost; however, travel costs (ex: Per Diem, lodging, mileage) will not be at Government cost.

    Clearance Level: Secret
