Ace Info Solutions, Inc. is currently seeking a highly intelligent, experienced professional for the role of Junior Scrum Master. The position is based in Fort Collins, CO with the possibility of occasional travel.

The Jr. Scrum Master is a servant leader and plays a key role in the successful delivery of a large complex system. The incumbent will be required to do Agile-specific administrative tasks. Take content, suggestions, seedling ideas from other Agile Team members and help bring them to fruition through close collaboration. The individual will be able to innovate, share ideas, and grow as an integral part of the Agile Team. The individual must have a great desire and passion to grow into an agile professional with high emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills.

  • Act as a unifier helping individual goals become program goals.

  • Take relevant notes during and follow-up on action items from Agile ceremonies (suggested improvements, story ideas, backlog needs, etc.).

  • Attend grooming and make updates based on team discussion.

  • Track retrospective action items.

  • Help keep the backlog clean and organized.

  • Make sure all stories have necessary content - track down from appropriate team members where needed.

  • Create dashboards based on customer/team need (at the direction of Agile Coach/SM).

  • Maintain Agile Confluence documentation and evangelize usage.

  • Generate and share ideas/proposals with other Agile Team members on how we can improve or address feedback from the customer/team.

  • Help maintain agendas for and keep ceremonies on track.

  • Help plan brownbags/Agile content for the team.

  • Generate useful JIRA Filters for stakeholders and train on how to use them.

  • Run point on execution of tasks from program management teams.

  • Backup ceremonies as-needed.

  • Work on execution of "special projects", at the direction of the Agile Coach.

  • Minimum 2+ years relevant work experience.

  • Experience with Kanban, Scrum, Scrumban, SAFe - Desired.

  • Experience working with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools - Atlassian expertise preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and have the ability to obtain Public Trust authorization from the U.S. government.

  • Adherence to the Agile Manifesto with justified flexibility.

  • Excellent communication, team dynamics, conflict resolution, and mentoring skills.

  • Proven leadership skills in directing all phases of a release.

  • Exceptional collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly communicate with management, business users, and IT resources.
