Martin Marietta Materials, Inc Asphalt Distributor Tack Driver (cdl Required) in Fort Collins, Colorado

Position Summary

The Distributor Operator will be responsible for loading hauling, and spraying CSS-1H emulsion and liquid A/C on various paving and construction projects in and around the Northern Colorado front range. When not operating, you may assist with paving operations including asphalt or base hauls while operating a tandem or tractor-trailer combination or water truck.

Knowledge,Skills and Abilities

Class A CDL with a tanker endorsement. Self-starter and punctual. Willing and able to work weekends and nights as required. High School Diploma or equivalent. Familiar with all FMCSA rules and regulations in the operation of a CMV. Able to perform and document a Pre and Post Trip Inspection. Willing to work hours that are associated with the asphalt industry, including overtime, nights, and weekends as needed. Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Minimum Education and Experience

1-2 years of experience required. High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noise Ability to lift 75 pounds Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling material.
