Valiant is seeking a skilled Supply Technician to manage hospital supplies in the central supply facility. Duties/Responsibilities: Orders and Distributes parts and supplies to facilities technicians. Understands purchasing processes and policies including knowledge of vendors, materials and supplies, and shipping and receiving procedures. Maintains daily, monthly, and yearly inventory control reports for supplies and materials. Maintains manufacturer date systems for recall of supplies according to limit of shelf life. Processes supply requests in a prompt, cooperative, and efficient manner. Research and evaluate potential vendors and suppliers. Request quotes and compare prices for maximum ROI Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases. Create and maintain good relationships with vendors, suppliers, and teammates. Negotiate appropriate contracts for pricing and supply. Examine and review products and supplies to ensure quality. Tracks incoming inventory, delivery arrival time, and note actual arrival time. Organize and update database of suppliers, delivery times, invoices, and quantity of supplies. Work with team members, supervisors to develop future purchasing plans and source potential relationships with vendors. Analyze potential vendors and suppliers for future project needs. Ensure all deliveries contain all goods requested. Works with vendors for coordination of maintenance services. Guides vendors through vendor on-boarding process. Tracks spending by maintaining a running log of material spend and maintaining parts and materials budget. Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of one year of experience with medical supplies/facilities parts inventory and ordering, equipment tracking, and materials management procedures
