Programmer/Analyst - Fort Campbell, KY

This immediate opening is for a full-time on-site Programmer/Analyst position in a military contracted service corporation, dealing with military training and support on Fort Campbell, KY. Candidate must be able to obtain a secret security clearance before employment is finalized. Programmer/Analyst will assist in developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining solutions for computer-related requirements. Must be self-motivated, talented, enthusiastic, highly organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and have some understanding of JavaScript, SQL Server, ASP.Net, HTML5 and CSS3. Any experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Adobe Captivate, Bootstrap, Classic ASP, and React is a plus. Interviewee should be prepared to generate queries in SQL Server and modify sample ASP or HTML5 with JavaScript code representative of our work during the in-person interview.

Essential Job Function:

  • Create web-based software programs and update, repair, and modify existing software programs.
  • Document, test, and debug hardware, software, and course-ware.
  • Develop, test, implement, document, and maintain locally developed, internal systems.
  • Generate products for the distribution of publications, courses, memorials, etc.
  • Establish and maintain an internal website and manage the internal database library (for lessons, publications, support requests, etc.).
  • Review products developed by other team members to identify problems or provide suggestions for optimization.
  • Assist internal customers by providing information technology support, providing hardware/software solutions, generating reports, and managing inventory.
  • Serve as a liaison between our firm and Army IT managers; assist the Army with problem resolution and upgrade efforts, and perform server maintenance as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in computer science or other related field).
  • Minimum of one year's experience designing, programming, and implementing applications in a multi-platform environment including web, mobile, database, etc.
  • Working knowledge of computer hardware, electronics, networks, operating systems, protocols, and standards.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must be able to obtain a secret security clearance before employment is finalized.
  • Candidate must be able to obtain a CompTIA Security+ certification within the first 90 days of employment and maintain the Security+ certification throughout employment.
  • This person must be a team player, highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of multitasking effectively.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and high standards of quality.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
