SOS International LLC Transition Manager in Fort Bragg, North Carolina

Overview

SOSi is currently seeking a Transition Manager to support a large language services contract. The program supports USSOCOM elements, units, and task forces in the CENTCOM AOR. The Transition Manager will oversee all aspects the transition of work onto the new contract from the outgoing Contractor.

Essential Job Duties

  • Transition Manager will be responsible for the planning and overseeing of all activities necessary for the transition of services, staffing, work-in-progress, and management stand-up functions.

  • The services of the Transition Manager will only be required during the Transition Phase-in period and the initial part of the Base Year.

  • The Transition Manager shall stay on task until the target transition fill rate of 70% is achieved and continuously maintained for 90 calendar days.

  • Transition Manager will ensure all contract transition requirements from the incumbent are identified, scheduled, negotiated, and completed during the specified Contract Transition-In Period.

  • Ensure contractor transition support personnel are in place with required facility access, artifacts, processes, and appropriate access to systems necessary for the on-boarding of new personnel and transition of any incumbent personnel to the Contractor.

  • The Transition Manager shall reside primarily at the JSOTF HQ. The Contractor will regularly report status to the COR and KO at periodic meetings, through written reports, and transition schedule updates per required.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active in scope Top-Secret Clearance and Sensitive Compartment Information (SCI) eligibility is required.

  • Demonstrated experience as a Transition Manager managing large-scale transition of Professional Service contracts involving 200 personnel or greater; experience within DoD or equivalent Government agencies is required.

  • Shall have demonstrated experience leading the planning, submission, and execution of Transition Phase-In Plans and Transition Phase-Out plans of similar scale.

  • Minimum three (3) years’ USSOCOM or JSOTF experience at the operational level of warfare is required.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification is required.

  • Specific experience supervising or leading teams and projects applying project management principles using industry best practices is desired.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree is desired.

  • Minimum eight (8) years’ USSOCOM or JSOTF experience in special operations is desired.

  • Experience in CENTCOM AO regional/political/military issues is highly desirable, but not required.

  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.

Work Environment

  • Work will be on Ft. Bragg, NC and the surrounding area, with occasional travel to the CENTCOM AOR as required.
