Lockheed Martin Field Service Representative (FSR) / Apache Spike NLOS in Fort Bragg, North Carolina

Description: The successful candidate will be technically qualified to provide onsite technical, maintenance and supply support to Apache Spike NLOS systems at an international location. The candidate will be responsible for providing support to Spike NLOS systems installed on the Apache Helicopters, to include troubleshooting, operational checks, and supply actions for Spike NLOS. Candidate will use support/test equipment, as well as standard electronic test devices such as a digital volt meter. Candidate will also need to have experience using wire schematics, blueprints, engineering drawings. He/she will troubleshoot technical problems and issues to determine technical solutions and/or remove and replace of Line Replaceable Units (LRUs). He/she will coordinate shipping and receiving of hardware. The FSR will interact with customer to collect flight and system data in order support contractual metric requirements. He/she will be able to perform product briefings with the customer personnel along with senior Lockheed Martin management. The FSR will act as the local on-site representative of LM to the customer

This is a deployable position. The successful candidate will be supporting a deployed unit and expected to travel with unit on other deployments. The position requires a commitment of a minimum of a 36-month deployment.

Due to international travel requirements, the candidate must be capable of passing an international physical examination. Candidate must be able to obtain Secret Clearance and secure a passport within the first 60 days of employment.

Basic Qualifications:

- Experience using engineering drawings and technical data.

- Capable of working in flightline environment.

- Knowledge of industrial and aircraft maintenance safety standards.

- Candidate must be able to obtain Secret Clearance and secure a passport within the first 60 days of employment.

- Relevant experience working as a Field Service Technician (or similar position)

- Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential

- Candidate must be able to maintain a good working relationship with the customer

- Candidate may also be required to take a post-offer, pre-employment physical to determine deployability capabilities as defined by the contract

Desired Skills:

- Support Equipment maintenance experience.

- Experience working on Apache or other helicopters

- Experience with military standard maintenance practices.

- Professional focused on mission success.

- Technical engineering degree and / or military background

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $71,000 - $136,000 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.
