SOS International LLC Deputy Program Manager in Fort Bragg, North Carolina

Overview

SOSi is currently seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support a large language services contract. The program supports USSOCOM elements, units, and task forces in the CENTCOM AOR. The Deputy Program Manager will assist the Program Manager in overseeing linguist personnel in multiple countries across the Middle East, Southwest Asia and the Horn of Africa.

Essential Job Duties

  • Serves as the Deputy Program Manager, assisting the Program Manager in supervising a team of management personnel CONUS and OCONUS that in turn manage the cleared linguist workforce in multiple OCONUS locations.

  • Provide support to government COR and KO.

  • In assisting the Program Manager, responsible for overall contract operations within their assigned geographic region and shall be SOSi’s primary cost, schedule, and performance interface with the Government COR and KO.

  • Receive and execute technical taskings from the COR.

  • Manage operations to ensure linguist staffing levels meet task order requirements, schedules are met, system resources are utilized effectively, and that proper relationships are established between customers and the contractor management team.

  • Mentor Assistant Program Manager as well as On-Site Managers and Coordinators, providing guidance and advice in personnel matters.

  • Implement and facilitate continuous process improvements.

  • Coordinate resolutions to linguist performance-related problems with Assistant Program Manager and On-Site Managers with guidance from the COR.

  • This position is located near Fayetteville, NC.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active inscope Top Secret clearance with eligibility for SCI.

  • Active in scope Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility is required.

  • Minimum of seven (7) years managerial experience within DoD or equivalent Government agencies required.

  • Minimum three (3) years’ USSOCOM or JSOTF experience at the operational level is required.

  • Educational experience: Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree is highly desirable, but not required.

  • Minimum eight (8) years’ USSOCOM or JSOTF experience in special operations is desired.

  • Experience in CENTCOM AO regional/political/military issues is highly desirable, but not required.

  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.

Work Environment

  • Work will be on Ft. Bragg, NC and the surrounding area, with occasional travel to the CENTCOM AOR as required.
