SOS International LLC Assistant Program Manager in Fort Bragg, North Carolina

Overview

SOSi is currently seeking an Assistant Program Manager to support a large language services contract. The program supports various USSOCOM units, and task forces in the CENTCOM AOR. The Assistant Site Manager will oversee linguist personnel at CONUS locations at Ft. Bragg, NC and the NCR.

Essential Job Duties

  • Serve as the Assistant Program Manager supervising a group of cleared linguists at CONUIS sites, having day-to-day contact with and visibility of the linguist workforce at these locations.

  • Provide support to and report to the Program and Deputy Program Managers

  • Responsible for contract linguist operations at the assigned sites; shall be SOSi’s primary performance interface with the lead Government official at these assigned sites.

  • Receive and execute technical taskings from the Program Manager and/or the Deputy Program Manager.

  • Manage operations to ensure linguist staffing levels at the assigned site meet task order requirements, schedules are met, system resources are utilized effectively, and that proper relationships are established between customers and the contractor management team.

  • Meet with linguists frequently to ascertain health and well-being, unit satisfaction, etc.

  • Implement and facilitate continuous process improvements.

  • Coordinate resolutions to linguist performance-related problems with the Deputy Program Manager.

Minimum Requirements

  • Active in scope Top Secret clearance.

  • A minimum of three years managerial experience within DoD or equivalent Government agencies, with at least one year at the operational level of warfare.

  • Associates Degree required with bachelor’s degree preferred. In lieu of education requirement, the Government may, at its discretion, accept actual, extensive work-related experience managing personnel in a DTAAC or ODTAAC as a substitute.

  • Proficient in utilizing basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in CENTCOM AO regional/political/military issues is highly desirable, but not required.

  • Additional years of general experience in Special Operations or significant knowledge of Special Operations is highly desirable.

  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.

  • Residence and work location is at Fayetteville, NC.
