Amentum Integrated Master Scheduler III in Fort Belvoir, Virginia

Amentum is currently seeking an Integrated Master Scheduler III to support the PM Soldier Survivability (PM SSV) project office under Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier, Ft. Belvoir, VA. This position will afford you an opportunity to be part of a dynamic and cohesive team whose mission is to provide and rapidly deliver enhanced protection, individual equipment, and aviation life support capabilities, which provides combat overmatch and facilitates mission execution.

As an Integrated Master Scheduler III, you will be expected to provide the following support to the Project Manager Soldier Survivability:

  • Organize and direct work, coordinates efforts related to design, develop, and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).

  • Apply principles of project management developing large, complex schedules.

  • Perform program schedule analysis to include: Metrics, Critical Path, Float, and schedule variances.

  • Build and maintain a program-level IMS which includes major milestones and deliverables from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Government sources.

  • Monitor OEM schedule performance to include weekly and monthly variances.

  • Utilize Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances.

  • Act as scheduling subject expert and mentors the program staff with regards to scheduling.

  • Understand and has facility with enterprise-level scheduling software.

  • Propose processes that will aid Integrated Scheduling.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Expert knowledge in use of MS Project.

Required Clearance:

  • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret. Please note US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Government Clearance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

  • At least twelve (12) years related work experience is required.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full‐time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.
