Amentum Human Intelligence (HUMINT) Desk Officer in Fort Belvoir, Virginia

Amentum provides intelligence analysis and security, training and education, and intelligence support strategy and policy support, intelligence and operations support, program management, and international business development services to U.S. government and commercial clients around the globe. Our Senior Leaders, Subject Matter Experts, and Operational Specialists have direct, on-the-ground expertise in planning and executing the most critical missions our country and business sectors have faced – with current operations ongoing in every region in the US, to include heavy support to the Washington, DC metro area and Tampa, FL area along with the Middle East, South Asia, Afghanistan, Latin America, Europe, or Africa. We offer experience in addressing today’s hardest problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Shall conduct technical oversight, coordination, deconflict, and synchronization of full spectrum Army human intelligence (HUMINT)activities in their assigned area of responsibility

  • Shall provide subject matter expertise on Army HUMINT policy, doctrine, strategy, and equities regarding Army Modernization Strategy and collection priorities

  • Shall ensure Army HUMINT operations compliance with applicable laws, policies, and regulations

  • Shall identify and recognize information which impacts Army HUMINT equities and ensure its interests are protected

  • Shall support Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) representation to the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-2, Intelligence Community, and Army HUMINT collection entities regarding Army HUMINT activities

  • Shall provide functional HUMINT support to policy formulation, resource management, source validation, and operational risk assessments

  • Shall present oral, visual, and written presentations to senior level government and military leadership, compose documents, briefings, and white papers, and support other staff actions based on approved recommendations

  • Shall provide strategic communications

Requirements:

  • Must be a graduate of any of the following Military Department Counterintelligence Agent Certifying Courses:

  • Army - 35M Course (or its predecessor)

  • Army - 351M Course (or its predecessor)

  • Army - 35F00 Course

  • HUMINT Training - Joint Center of Excellence (HT-JCOE) - Source Operations Course (SOC) (or its predecessor)

  • United States Marine Corps (USMC) - 0211/0210/0204 Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) counterintelligence (CI) and HUMINT Course

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as a HUMINT collector

  • College education cannot be used in lieu of experience

  • Must possess an understanding of full spectrum HUMINT activities

  • Strong understanding of Army and Department of Defense (DoD) HUMINT policy

Desired:

  • Completion of any of the following HUMINT courses is desired:

  • HUMINT Training - Joint Center of Excellence (HT-JCOE) - DoD Strategic Debriefing Course (DSDC)

  • HT-JCOE - Defense Advanced Tradecraft Course (DATC) (or its predecessor)

  • Other - Operations Tradecraft Course (OTC) (or its predecessor)
