JOB REQUIREMENTS: Quality Technician - 2nd Shift LinkedIn Twitter Email Message Share Manufacturing and Operations Fort Atkinson, WI * ID: 1109B(2) * Full-Time/Regular As a Quality Technician at Spacesaver, you will be responsible for completing First Article Inspections (FAI), incoming product inspections, processing audits and supporting shop floor quality issue resolutions. You will be also be responsible for the FAI process, incoming inspections, shop issue resolutions, equipment calibration, part validation (as required), process audits and the support of corrective actions. The Quality Technician will lead ISO 9001:2008 documentation support, manufacturing area audits, and inspections to ensure that the Spacesaver production process remains capable of producing to customer requirements. The salary range for this role starts at \$22.39. \$3 shift premium for 2nd shift! Required Skills Qualified candidates will have 2-5 years of Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment, ASQC certification is a plus. Qualified candidates must be able to read and interpret mechanical drawing and specifications, be proficient in the use of mechanical inspection equipment, and be proficient in Microsoft Office Applications. Candidates must have experience in supporting and maintaining inspection systems, ability to lead the support of an ISO9001 quality system for a manufacturing operation, ability to analyze data, identify problem areas and assist in resolution of manufacturing process issues that affect quality. The ability to understand sheet metal fabrication, paint and assembly processes is a plus. Candidates best suited for this role will have excellent organization, strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent communication skills both verbal and written, strong decision making skills, solid problem solving skills, and work effectively independently in a team environment.
