The Licensed Practical Nurse, as a member of the multidisciplinary team, assists in total age/population specific nursing care through implementation of appropriate therapeutic approaches utilizing nursing process and nursing practice standards. The Licensed Practical Nurse carries out assigned functions demonstrating a cooperative hospital and department philosophy. The Licensed Practical Nurse contributes to the quality of patient care by working closely with patients and their families.

    Qualifications

    Education: Illinois Licensed Practical Nurse.

    Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing experience preferred.

    Additional Requirements: Maintains compliance with all Hospital annual competencies as well as CPR, and designated protective intervention program (CPI)
