Description:

Position Title: Machine Helper

Pay Rate : $17.99

Category/Shift : Hourly Full Time - Shift Times; 7am-3pm (first). 3pm-11pm (second) 11pm – 7am (third). Some weekends are mandatory.

The Job You Will Perform:

  • Production machine setup

  • Reading factory orders

  • Accurately reading tape measures, gauges, and other test equipment

  • Utilizing basic shop math, inspecting, counting and stacking product, accurately completing quality and administrative documents, and following directions

  • Machine Helpers are expected to effectively assist in running corrugating or finishing machines to achieve plant goals, including working safely, maintaining/improving productivity according to established methods and goals

  • Securing raw materials

  • Participating in crew meetings, reducing waste, actively participating in team problem solving processes, and maintaining quality standards.

  • Applicants must be willing to work alternate shifts, weekends, and daily overtime as required.

  • NOTE: Machine Helper is a full-time entry level position for new manufacturing associates.

The Skills You Bring Must Include:

  • High school diploma (or GED) is required.

  • Must pass all required prescreening testing

  • The ability to perform the duties / responsibilities of the job with or without accommodations

  • One to two year’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is required. Experience in the corrugated or converting industry is preferred, but not required.

  • The ability to learn; and the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team.
