How you will contribute: Duties of this position would include fabricating, extensive material handling, and assembling ductwork systems for heating, ventilation, & air conditioning. Sheet metal workers select the gauge and type of sheet metal according to the product being fabricated and their knowledge of metals and their properties. What you need to qualify: Prior experience as a Machine Operator is preferred. Sheet metal apprentice applicants must have a high school diploma or its equivalent, and must meet the required norms on aptitude tests.
