Job Highlights:

This part time Psychotherapist position is part of SSM Agnesian Healthcare’s experienced and cohesive behavioral health team focused on providing quality mental health support to primarily a child and teenage population in an outpatient, school based setting. This position is based in the Fond du lac, WI area, primarily at the satellite behavioral health clinics located in the Fond du Lac and North Fond du Lac area schools. These satellite clinics are affiliated branches of the SSM Behavioral Health Camelot Drive location, and school based therapists are a part of the Camelot Behavioral Health multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate has experience facilitating individual, group, and family therapy, along with strengths in collaborating with educational teams. Experience with multiple modalities consistent with evidence-based practices including CBT, as well as trauma informed care is highly desirable.

  • M-F workweek, 20 hours per week

  • Fond du Lac & North Fond du Lac District Schools

  • Individual and Family Therapy

  • $3,750 sign on bonus

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in mental health field

  • 3 years post graduate experience (3,000 hours) preferred

  • WI License

  • LMFT, LPC, LCSW

  • Experience using CBT therapy

SSM Behavioral Health, Camelot Location , part of SSM Health Behavioral Health, is a state-certified outpatient mental health clinic offering a wide variety of counseling, assessment, and consulting services in a comfortable and confidential setting, located across from a scenic pond with a hiking trail. The school-based, outpatient clinics related to this position are affiliated with this location.

Job Summary:

Manages psychological problems of patients through services consisting of assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and psychotherapy.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plans treatment based on the individual client’s needs as well as resources available from the organization and community resources.

  • Works in coordination with professionals involved in patient’s care to ensure interdisciplinary collaboration and continuity of services.

  • Keeps current knowledge of community resources for supplementary treatment of clients, and makes referrals which adequately and appropriately utilize these resources. Is available for consultation with other staff regarding community resources.

  • Provides a continuum of short and long term psychotherapy to individuals, couples families and groups, based on individualized treatment plans.

  • Maintains good communication and collaborative relationships with referring physicians and other staff, and recommends additional referrals for patients as needed.

  • Carries out ongoing record keeping and case review of all psychotherapy work in compliance with state guidelines.

  • Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

  • Provides assessment (by telephone and in-person) of suicidal and homicidal risk and immediacy of crisis situations.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

  • Master's degree in Behavioral Health or related field

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent reaching, sitting, standing and walking.

  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more).

  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.

  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.

  • Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, twisting and gripping.

  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.

  • Occasional use of vision to identify and distinguish colors.

  • Occasional driving.

  • Rare repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements and squatting.
