As a DRAM Engineering Group (DEG) System Compatibility (SCG) Technician at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for setting up systems, performing functional testing of product, and performing failure analysis on system failures. In this role, you will work with engineering to run tests and review data for accuracy and completeness and conduct follow-up experiments as needed.
Within our labs, your team will use a variety of equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators, multi-meters, etc.). You will work with other specialists within the Systems Compatibility Group as well as multi-functional teams including Application Engineering Groups, Product Engineering, Return Material Authorization (RMA), and throughout Micron.

What’s Encouraged Daily:
Manage lab system utilization for qualification testing
Install product, perform functional tests, and record results
Setup and configure computer systems
Verify Hardware, Firmware (including BIOS), and Software configurations
Evaluate, document, and communicate results to engineering teams
How To Qualify:
Relevant proven experience with module testing and computer systems
Experience/Understanding of hardware: X86, ARM, Computer, System, DRAM, Intel, AMD
Experience/Understanding of equipment: Oscilloscope, logic analyzer, motherboard
What Sets You Apart:
Associates/Technical Degree
Knowledge of MAM tracking and shipping product
Knowledge in computer systems and/or DRAM operation
Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Experience/Understanding of Software: Python, Linux, SQL, C#

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$25.50 - $51.00
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
