Intel GPU Design Verification Engineer in Folsom, California

Job Description

The Graphics GT validation team is responsible for validating industry-leading GPU (3D, Media, Compute) hardware intellectual property (IP) blocks and system-on-a-chip (SoC) products for discrete graphics and throughput computing. We strive to lead the industry through continuous innovation and world-class engineering. We work closely with partners across Intel and do not let any organizational boundary get in the way of solving problems. We are looking for a GPU Design Verification Engineer to join our team.

As GPU Design Verification Engineer your responsibilities will include but not limited to: Pre-silicon verification of Intel's GPU IP, with focus on 3D/Compute pipelines and Memory Fabric. Engaged in the full lifecycle of verification from planning to test execution and include collecting and closing coverage. Closely interface with architecture and design teams to understand design product requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and test content. Conduct, participate in testplan/test reviews, develop verification tests, their execution, debug, and triage of failures.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or any STEM related field with 1 year experience or have a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or any STEM related field with 3 years of work experience in the field. 1+ years of experience in the following areas: Pre-Si verification Logic Design and Architecture Design simulator, functional coverage concepts and implementation, test development, execution, and debug UNIX and Windows OS

Preferred Qualifications: Well versed in using simulator tools for debug Experience with Graphics IP verification Experience in using emulators/FPGA to do pre-silicon validation. Working knowledge of SV assertions, Coverage Point coding . Experience with Scripting (Python, Ruby, PERL) Knowledge of Pre-Si emulation flows, working with FSDB files, etc

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $106,231.00-$159,109.00

*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
