Full-Time Facilities Associate - Queens

Responsibilities :

  • Assist in supervising facility personnel on the facility maintenance, housekeeping, sanitation and distribution

  • Assist in evaluating and monitoring techniques for housekeeping, sanitation, and lien laundry production and distribution operations

  • Responsible for day-to-day facility maintenance, housekeeping, sanitation and distribution

  • Responsible for maintenance of structural surfaces

  • Prepare purchase orders and specifications for institutional equipment, furniture and supplies

  • Evaluate and inspect purchases

  • Prepare manuals, administrative guides and staff communications to assure safe and efficient institutional management services

  • Assist in fire and safety program coordination

  • Arrange for meeting setup and refreshments

  • Responsible for maintenance of phone system

  • Responsible for updating and tracking ADT software and database

  • Responsible for maintenance of HVAC system

  • Perform other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications :

  • Associate degree required. Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Major in Construction Management preferred

  • Experience in purchasing of supplies and maintenance of facility required

  • Conversant in English and some Chinese preferred

    Compensation and Benefits :

  • Salary: $50,000.00 - 55,000.00 per year
