Full-Time Administrative Assistant - Social Work - Queens

Reports To: Director of Social Work

Responsibilities :

  • Answer office phone calls and voicemails; and respond to inquiries from patients, visitors, and other departments accordingly

  • Schedule appointments for patients to meet with Social Workers for services

  • Arrange meetings/event logistics and prepare agendas and minutes in a timely manner

  • Provide administrative support in clerical duties, preparing documents and slides, and collecting and retrieving data to generate statistical reports

  • Provide administrative support in ordering business cards and health-related materials, office supplies inventory, scanning, filing, photocopying, faxing, and processing mail for the department

  • Assist the Patient Relation Committee with collecting written feedback and entering it into the Patient Feedback Portal

  • Assist Social Workers with administration support including, but not limited to, submitting payment reimbursement for the department, processing referral applications, tracking durable medical equipment and medical supplies orders, and scheduling transportation trips for patients

  • Perform other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications :

  • High School diploma, Bachelor degree preferred

  • Experience in Microsoft system

  • One year experience in office administrative support work

  • Bilingual in English/Chinese preferred

    Compensation and Benefits :

  • Salary: $36,000.00 - 40,000.00 per year
