Pinelake Church Curriculum and Experiences Coordinator for Little Lakers & Kids (One Church Team) in Flowood, Mississippi

SUMMARY:

The role of the Curriculum and Experience Coordinator is to support Pinelake Church's Little Lakers and Kids multi-campus teams by:

  • Formatting and supplementing weekend curriculum.

  • Developing materials and supporting campuses for Christ-centered discipleship experiences for Little Lakers and Kids, such as SummerFest and other One Church events.

  • Developing and strengthening kids, parents, and servant leader discipleship materials and events.

  • Researching and understanding best practices of children's ministry.

  • Ensuring alignment with the overall discipleship strategies of the Spiritual Formation team.

    GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the Director of Little Lakers and Kids and the Pastor of Spiritual Formation to research, format, and supplement curriculum content, parent resources, and servant leader material for use in the Little Lakers and Kids ministries of Pinelake Church.

  • Basic personal responsibilities:

  • Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer, and meditation.

  • Maintain proper priorities in your home including your spouse and children (if married and/or with children).

  • Faithfully support the ministries of Pinelake by maintaining wise stewardship over the resources entrusted to you.

  • Maintain active participation in a small group.

  • Attends at least one regular weekly worship service and supports the campuses for other services.

  • Reflect a growing awareness and practice of personal Emotional Healthy Spirituality.

  • Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner to glorify Christ and further the mission and ministry purposes of Pinelake Church (Colossians 3:23-24).

SPECIFIC LIST OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Director of Little Lakers and Kids in collaboration with campuses to evaluate, strengthen, and streamline ministry resources.

  • Write and/or supplement ministry content for the Little Lakers and Kids ministry areas.

  • Provide content and logistical support to the Little Lakers and Kids ministry environments outside of normal programming such as New Beginnings, SummerFest, Parent Events, and Servant Leader Events.

  • Evaluate usage of Sunday morning curriculum to ensure that the deliverables are effective and utilized as best as possible.

  • Work with campus Little Lakers and Kids teams in formatting curriculum to make it accessible and applicable for their ministry context.

  • Consistently communicate with the Director of Little Lakers and Kids in the research and development of new ministry resources.

  • Assist Little Lakers and Kids Ministries through activity development and resource purchasing to streamline the curriculum process at the campus level.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Little Lakers and Kids or Pastor of Spiritual Formation.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

The minimum requirement for the Curriculum and Experiences Coordinator For Little Lakers & Kids is a bachelor's degree. Competitive candidates will have advanced discipleship training and writing experience.
