Texas Health Physicians Group is pleased to announce a full time opening for a Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner to join a team dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of all forms of heart and blood vessel disease in Flower Mound, TX This is a great opportunity to work closely with board certified cardiologist who have a reputation for excellence in diagnosing and providing innovative treatments for cardiovascular diseases.

Position Details:

  • Full time- 40 hours per week.

  • Assist with hospital rounding, discharging and clinical management of cardiology patients

  • Electronic Medical Records

  • Acute Care and Follow up visits

  • ICU Rounding

  • Nuclear, Stress Tests, Echocardiogram all on site

Requirements Needed to Apply:

  • Active Texas license

  • Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Board Certification and Experience

  • Degree in NP studies from an approved physician assistant program

  • 1-3 years of Cardiology experience required

Nurse Practitioner Qualifications:

The Nurse Practitioner (“NP”) Must be a graduate of an accredited Advanced Nursing Program and have a current RN license for the State of Texas.

Certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas.

The NP will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure.

The NP’s duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only
