Job Title: Kitchen Staff (Prep Cook, Sack Lunch Prep, Dishwasher) Reports to: Head Chef

Position Purpose/Major Function of the Position: To further the mission of Colorado Outdoor Education Center by providing quality meals to clients and guests who have reserved the conference center space to learn on site.

Essential Job Functions: Prep and cook meals for clients dietary restrictions Wash and sanitize all used dishes Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards Assist in maintaining a clean kitchen, sparkling dishware, and a tidy dining area

Other Job Duties: Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between coworkers Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances Deal with reasonable complaint/requests with professionalism and patience Adhere to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices Perform any additional duties as assigned

Qualifications: (Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience) Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance Excellent working knowledge of kitchen appliances, their operations and cooking methods Proven willingness to learn Knowledge of a cooking or kitchen work preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Attention to detail Customer oriented and friendly Working quickly without compromising quality Flexible Schedule including weekends

Physical Requirements of the Position: Ability to spend all day on your feet Ability to lift 50lbs Ability to navigate over uneven terrain

Compensation: Great work environment Meals during shift when clients are on site Wage: $14.50-$17.00/Hr
