The Opportunity As our Quality Control Manager, you will ensure the manufacturing and assembly operations of our business generating a suitable output of products, that meet required quality standards. You will report directly to the Operations Director of DF&H Fruits and Vegetable North America. On a given day, you may: Coordinate employee efforts and communications between management and the manufacturing/assembly/supply chain teams. Develop a quality manual, keeping up to date with industry best practices and implementing change Set the QC and inspection requirements for raw materials, assemblies and manufactured goods from suppliers and monitoring their compliance. Work with the Procurement and Supply Chain teams, questioning the nature of defects. Manage the businesses WIP (work in progress) inspection and approval process. Qualifications What you have: Experience with ASME certification process Knowledge of ASME code Around 5 years of experience working in a QC role within an ISO or ASME accredited business Experience achieving ISO accreditation Minimum HND Level 4 or equivalent in a technical discipline. Either a level 1 - GD&T to BS8888 and ISO Standards – Entry Level or something similar/equivalent. Work towards EngTech, IEng or CEng via the UK-SPEC (Engineering Council) framework.
