Honeywell Field Service Technician II - Travelling in FLORIDA, Florida

As a Field Service Technician at Honeywell, you will be an integral part of our field service operations, providing technical support and service to our customers. Your dedication to customer satisfaction and your problem-solving skills will contribute to the success of our field service operations. You will report directly to our Field Service Manager and you’ll work throughout the West Palm Beach area with occasional travel to Orlando, FL. In this role, you will impact the satisfaction of our customers by ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for customer needs, and you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our field service operations

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, both remotely and on-site

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions for customer needs

  • Conduct training sessions for field service technicians and customers

  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Work & Travel Area(s)

  • Typical work week is Monday – Friday with ability to work overtime when needed.

  • Be available for off hour “Emergency On-Call” as needed.

  • Depending on the service requirements for a particular customer or region, this position may require significant travel as well as overnight travel

  • The territory for this position is in West Palm Beach, FL. Candidate may also travel to Orlando, FL as well. Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time.

Company Vehicle / Travel Expenses:

  • Company vehicle is provided

  • Corporate Travel card will be offered to pay for expenses (No expenses come out of your pocket)

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 2+ years working in a field service role

  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time which may include overnight stays

  • Valid Driver’s license acceptable to Honeywell

  • Energy-efficiency installation experience

  • Strong customer focus skills and ability to build & maintain relationships

WE VALUE

  • Extensive HVAC experience (i.e., insulation etc.)

  • Extensive experience with weather stripping, energy-efficient installation & working with utilities.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; Associate's degree or technical certification preferred

  • Continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated with industry advancements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Results-oriented approach and ability to drive projects to successful completion

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
