The Cigna Group Pharmacy Technician - Express Scripts in Florence, New Jersey

The Pharmacy Technician (Pharmacy Technician Representative) ensures prescriptions are processed and shipped appropriately so they can arrive in the hands of the 100 million patients whose health depends on their delivery.

This position is eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus and bonuses.

Responsibilities

  • Select the necessary amount of medication and create corresponding labels.

  • Collaborate with a proficient team to ensure that patients receive their required medication promptly.

  • Collaborate with pharmacists and production clerks to ensure that medications are adequately filled and support the pharmacy's quality goals.

  • Delivers straightforward administrative and operational support services in the Pharmacy.

  • Obtains new prescriptions and prescription refill information from customers.

  • Works to clearly defined procedures under close supervision.

  • Besides verifying and printing prescriptions and doing routine duties, techs must pick up the medication and help on the packing line.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma; GED or equivalent.

  • NJ State Board of Pharmacy license. (We will provide the training to get the license during 1st week and will pay for the license.)

  • Certification preferred (If only licensed, will need the commitment to become Pharmacy Technician Certified before license expiration)

  • 0-1 year of experience in the Pharmacy Field.

  • Previously worked as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.

  • Working knowledge using math skills

  • Demonstrated conflict resolution skills.

  • PC knowledge, including Microsoft Office suite.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Flexibility to work onsite

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
