Satellite Services, Inc. Production Control Clerk in Florence, Arizona

23.48 per hour | Until Filled (EST) | Florence, AZ, USA | Hourly | Full Time

The Production Control Clerk compiles and records production data for our facilities maintenance contract and ensures the accuracy of records, reports, material use, quality control, and other aspects of maintenance and repair. You may perform any combination of the following duties: compile and record maintenance data from customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets following prescribed recording procedures and using different word processing techniques. Calculate such factors man-hours used, materials used, frequency of defects, and worker and department production rates, using a computer, calculator, and/or spreadsheets. Additional tasks include: writing production reports based on data compiled, tabulated and computed, following prescribed formats, maintaining files of documents used and prepared, compiling detailed task instruction or work tickets for use by technicians as guides in maintenance and repair tasks. You will prepare work schedules based on established guidelines and priorities, compile material inventory records and prepare requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies, prepare maintenance progress using charts, graphs, or pegboard based on statistics compiled for reference by technicians and management personnel. You will also sort and distribute work tickets or material and may compute wages from employee time cards and post wage data on records used for preparation of payroll. All duties must be performed within the specified safety regulations of the company and the position. May perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

This position is generally sedentary in nature in that prolonged sitting, talking, and hearing are necessary. The employee is occasionally required to stand, bend, kneel and walk. The ability to lift up to 25 lbs. is required. The job requires frequent use of the hands, fingers, arms, and reaching. There is frequent close vision and distance vision work also involving depth perceptions. The ability to communicate clearly both written and orally is necessary. The environment is a normal office environment, generally hazard free, but may involve some infrequent exposure to noise, dust and paper residue.

Required Job Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or Equivalent

  • Security Clearance (or ability to obtain upon hire)

  • Minimum of three years' experience as a Production Control and Scheduling Clerk in an industrial setting

Desired Job Qualifications:

Familiarity with computerized maintenance management software such as NCCMS, CMMS, or MPII programs a plus

  • None

Work Schedule:

  • Full-Time (40 hours per week)

  • Position may include some shift work and Saturdays and Sundays
