Northwest Alabama Mental Health Center Support Coordinator - Florence - Full Time in Florence, Alabama

This position requires someone to be an advocate and manage a caseload of 30 individuals approved for the Intellectual Disability Medicaid Waiver program. Support coordinators are responsible for monitoring services, documenting all correspondence in a timely manner, conducting person-centered planned meetings, completing annual plans, and completing waiver application renewals. Paid job training will be provided.

Requirements:

  • No experience is required, but you MUST have a bachelor's degree in a HUMAN SERVICES field. *May 2024 graduates are encouraged to apply! Unofficial transcripts can be provided to start the process.
  • A current/valid driver's license, be a minimum age of 21, and have an insurable driving record, and have reliable transportation.
  • Knowledge of computer skills, including computer software programs such as Word Processing, Excel, Outlook, online programs, and typing 40+ wpm. Excellent organization and the ability to work with other service providers.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8AM-4:30PM

Salary: Will be discussed at interview

Location: 4129 Helton Drive, Florence, AL 35630. This is NOT a remote position.
