DM Burr Group Security Officer in Flint, Michigan

Position Available: Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer - 1st Shift

 

*Schedule: *Friday and Saturday, 9:00am - 7:00pm at Lake Callis Recreation Complex in Davison, MI

(Will be required to work Memorial Day, Fourth of July, & Labor Day)

 

Wage: $16.50/hour

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitor grounds and facility for suspicious activity
  • Monitor all persons entering/leaving facility
  • Unlock buildings/doors after checking identification and compliance with polices
  • Observe activity and traffic in assigned area to enforce rules/regulations; alert visitors of infractions
  • Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
  • Be alert and aware at all times
  • Have great customer service skills
  • Prevent losses or damages by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures
  • Complete reports by recording observations and information, occurrences and surveillance activities; submit reports to supervisor if required
  • Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points
  • Complete other job duties assigned at specific job site

Position Requirements:

  • 6+ months security experience
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Ability to follow basic verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Reliable transportation
