TITLE: Public Health Nursing Supervisor UNION: AFSCME LOCAL 916-03 FULL-TIME/PART-TIME: Full-Time OPEN DATE: 4/3/2024 CLOSED DATE: Continuous Until Filled LOCATION: Health Department

DESCRIPTION: Starting Pay: $36.0649 Hourly ($75,015) After 1st Year: $37.1461 Hourly ($77,264) After 2nd Year: $37.9261 Hourly ($78,886) After 3rd Year: $39.0638 Hourly ($81,253) After 4th Year: $39.9864 Hourly ($83,172) After 5th Year: $41.1860 Hourly ($85,667)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing AND three (3) years of responsible experience in nursing activities; -OR-
  • Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing and a Master's degree in public health, nursing, health administration, human services, or public administration and two (2) years of responsible experience in nursing activities.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be registered as a nurse in the State of Michigan or possess a temporary permit pending final registration.
  • Must have a valid Michigan driver's license and the use of a vehicle during working hours.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Performs professional duties involving the planning, coordination, development, and implementation of personal and community health programs under the direction of a Division Director; assists in the monitoring and evaluation of program activities; supervises and trains subordinate employees; performs related duties as required.
