Pay Range HVACR: $23.91 to $28.93

Pay Range Senior HVACR: $25.56 to $30.93

Position Summary:

Under the general direction of the Engineering Services management, this position is responsible for the operation, installation and monitoring of the fresh air fans, exhaust fans, cooling towers, domestic furnaces, hot and chilled water, closed loop systems and associated equipment.

Required:

  • Associate degree in Applied Science with a certificate in Air Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Technology (ACHR) from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of job related experience;

  • or Certificate in Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Technology (ACHR) from an accredited college or university and five (5) years of job related experience;

  • or eight (8) years of job related experience

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints

  • Must possess valid State ofMichigan Operator’s license

  • Must meet approval by insurance carrier to drive hospital vehicles.

  • Must hold an EPA Section 608 Technician Universal (Type 1, 2 and 3) Certification, or a similar certification, within two years of hire.

Preferred:

  • Second Class Stationary Engineer, licensed/registered by the state ofMichigan.

  • Previous experience as HVAC Technician in a Health Care Setting
