Solventum is seeking Systems Control Technician candidates to join our team in Flemington, NJ!
Shift Options: 2nd or 3rd Shift (see under "Your Skills & Expertise")
Starting Pay: $38.78/hour Shift Differentials

The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Systems Control Technician, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Leading preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment such as, but not limited to: AC/DC drives and motors, programmable logic controllers, robotics, process controllers, stepper & servo motors, fire protection equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic devices, and plant support equipment.
Implementing automated system upgrades and improvements
Determining best practices that comply with all corporate, plant and department safety rules for systems control
Supporting engineering, production, and maintenance of production, converting, assembly and packaging equipment; troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, installation, and start-up of new equipment.
Creating an environment that supports all department in the attainment of customer satisfaction


Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Associate degree or higher AND a minimum of two (2) years of technical experience

OR
High school diploma/ GED AND a minimum of three (3) years of technical experience


In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:
Ability to work 2nd and/or 3rd Shift:
2nd Shift: M-F; 3pm - 11pm
3rd Shift: M-F; 11pm - 7am
Ability to work weekends, overtime, and holidays as needed


Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechatronics, Industrial Electronics or Robotics and Automation, or Engineering Technology
Experience with Automation Controls and Robotics
Experience with reliability analysis, predictive (PdM), and preventative maintenance (PM)
Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings
Possess excellent documentation skills
Excellent technical communication skills, both written and oral to a diverse audience.

The starting rate of pay for this position is $38.78/hr, with the potential to reach $46.63/hr. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
