Description We are seeking a Medical Scheduler to join our team based in Flemington, New Jersey. The Medical Scheduler will play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating schedules for various departments within our organization. This role requires exceptional communication skills, strong understanding of scheduling software, and the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate schedules for multiple departments within the organization, ensuring optimal coverage and efficiency.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for scheduling inquiries, updates, and changes.

• Utilize scheduling software and tools to create, maintain, and update schedules as needed, ensuring accuracy and completeness of schedule data.

• Proactively identify and address scheduling conflicts or issues, collaborating with relevant parties to find solutions and ensure smooth operations.

• Assess and prioritize scheduling requests based on urgency, importance, and resource availability. Make adjustments as necessary to accommodate changing priorities.

• Maintain accurate records of schedules, changes, and updates. Generate reports and analyses as required to support decision-making processes.

• Provide training and support to team members on scheduling procedures, software usage, and best practices.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains in scheduling workflows and implement changes and enhancements as appropriate.

• Utilize skills in Patient Scheduling and Customer Service to effectively perform daily duties and interact with team members and external stakeholders. Requirements • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent education level

• Proven experience in medical scheduling or a similar role within a healthcare setting

• Proficient in using medical software for scheduling appointments

• Excellent customer service skills with a patient-centric approach

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain accuracy

• Understanding of medical terminology and procedures

• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations

• Proficient in English language for effective communication with patients and medical staff

• Familiarity with insurance procedures and healthcare services

• Ability to work collaboratively with a team

• Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle patient scheduling conflicts efficiently

• Flexibility to work in shifts as per the clinic's operational hours.
