Description:

This position requires self-discipline and organization to efficiently and effectively oversee, perform and maintain: residential and commercial door sales and installation, work order and service work execution, inventory management of stock product and customer sold product, customer follow through, office workflow and peer moral.

In addition to the above, and most importantly, the position requires the ability to maintain a clean, safe and healthy work environment for all LVOHD employees.

This position will mainly serve as an office related role with potential for weekly site visits, field sales calls, material procurement at local LVOHD vendors, customer follow-ups, service calls and installations.

As a small family-owned company, Loren Vickers Overhead Door, Inc will frequently utilize all employee resources to provide proficient customer service, this could include making over the counter sales, answering phones, scheduling service calls and minor data entry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Day to day activities will include but are not limited to:

  • Showing up to work fit for duty, on time and ready for a safe day’s work

  • Overseeing and executing all Northern operations from project management, sales, installation, service, customer service

  • Making field visits to develop customer relationships, look at construction, measure existing infrastructure, measure new infrastructure and/or check for conflicting structure

  • Being tasked with efficiency improvement projects to better perform duties daily as a company

  • Answer phones, input service calls and dispatch service tech’s to various job sites based off location and complexity

  • Working with scheduling and office management to ensure each customer is taken care of in a timely manner

  • Overseeing all incoming and outgoing material, inclusive of: ensuring packing slips are accounted for and matched with the appropriate invoices

  • Purchasing of stock product and maintenance of inventory which is inclusive of making sure stock is organized and properly accounted for and available, this is in coordination with a future parts manager

  • Develop relationships with necessary manufacturers reps to obtain better pricing while developing an understanding of new product knowledge

  • Effectively aid in the communication of all job site and sale information to the techs and office staff during the job and following up with the customer upon completion of the job

  • Effectively aid in the communication of all installation related items to all LVOHD personnel such as job site lessons learned, future safety considerations and new product knowledge

  • Scheduling trainings and office safety meetings on a regular monthly basis, agendas and minutes will be required and will need to be shared
