SWIM INSTRUCTOR: Are you a strong swimmer? Do you have great skills and technique with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills? Do you enjoy being responsible and be able to provide supervision and safety of all in a pool environment with your spare time? If so, the YMCA of Central Massachusetts, Montachusett Community Branch is looking for you to join our amazing Aquatics Department! We are currently seeking year-round Swim Instructors who want to be part of our team! Swim Instructors are responsible for the teaching skill and technique to a vast array of ages while maintaining a safe, friendly pool environment for our members. well-being, and progress of program participants. ? Possession of current certifications required. ? CPR/AED with First Aid ? WSI with a minimum of one year of experience teaching swim lessons. Schedule: Typical hours for group lessons are on Saturdays ? but we can add group lessons to Monday afternoons if we have available instructors. Available Shifts: Saturdays 10:30 am - 12:45 pm and/or Mondays 4 - 5:05 pm Our immediate need for Swim Instructors is on Saturdays from 10:30 am to 12:45 pm. Job Type: Part-Time Pay: \$15.00/hour, Access to facilities to all YMCA employees, Employee Assistance Program, and Sick Leave **Group Lessons compensation is the same as Lifeguarding, but Private Lessons compensation is higher.
