About the Position:

^As a Small Business Administration (SBA) Project Management Intern you will support and actively participate in a team environment with duties assigned to support the SBA department's project management and process improvement initiatives.^

What You Will Do:

  • Assist project team with overall project initiatives and help drive project timelines
  • Assist with tasks such as data collection, analysis, and preparing strategic reports
  • Track project progress and process improvements
  • Update and maintain project documentation, such as project files, master log, timelines, change log, lessons learned, etc.
  • Attend and document project meetings
  • Assist in system and process testing prior to implementation
  • Support file organization and periodic administrative functions, as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:

  • Current Junior with demonstrated interest in project management, operations management, process improvement, banking and/or small business
  • This internship requires an ongoing pursuit of a college degree preferably in Project Management, Operations Management, or Business Management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Proficient with personal computers, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word applications

Working Conditions/Demands:

  • Professional office setting.
  • Primarily sedentary position requiring long periods of time working at a computer.
  • Must be able to move throughout the office and buildings to obtain or relay information.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
