Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate forecast report analysis on a weekly basis, determining production per system demand and forecast

  • Maintain a variety of computerized records pertaining to open and closed purchase orders – communicate and maintain detailed records of changes that impact PSI from the time it is issued to the next update

  • Develop production plans considering capacity planning, labor, waste, and quality standards; assign start date/time and end date/time for production

  • Manage North American purchase orders including creating, maintaining for suppliers; review open purchase orders and purchase requisitions on a weekly basis to ensure dates are accurate

  • Manage raw material and finished good inventory including, tracking inventory for multiple materials (closures, glass, trays, film); identify and manage material shortages; advise production of obstacles and discuss proposed solutions; work with production to determine modifications

  • Minimize exposure risk and assure compliance with Inventory Management Agreements

  • Manage SAP planning settings to optimize the inventory and service, including safety stock, master planning parameters and lead time in collaboration with sourcing

  • Troubleshoot incoming supply or availability issues as needed. Including working on supplier system for container prioritization / supplier approval

  • Identify and communicate potenial future demand and supply issues and lead the team in developing an action plan

  • Maintain key activity with suppliers including purchase plan and annual volumes.

  • Review and make decision in daily allocations

  • Develop Planning Wheel / Level Load

  • Collaborate with Divisional resources to determine risks, forecast accuracy and other supply chain risks

  • Coordinate and prioritize schedule sequence for production lines; coordinate with shop floor personnel to ensure timely completion of production jobs

  • Analyze forecast combined with demonstrated rates and provide labor requirements as needed

  • Coordinate activities with logistics, plant management, manufacturing operations and maintenance, quality, and accounting personnel

Key measurements for success include exceeding customer service levels, projecting and managing inventory levels, managing E&O to insure minimal excess when programs change/reduce, supporting aggressive international growth strategies, and supporting the GBU during product development to ensure projects are launched on time. In addition, this position is considered an essential business role – Working from the Plant is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, supply chain or related analytical field.

  • 1-3 years of supply chain experience.

  • Positive, can-do attitude

  • Strong analytical skills and understanding in MRP supply chain theory

  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas and drive action across peer groups

  • Ability to demonstrate change management and possess a continuous improvement mindset

  • Strong working knowledge of systems: SAP, ERP system, Excel & PowerPoint

  • Limited domestic travel ( 10% as needed)
