SUMMARY

Bangs Laboratories, part of the Ott Scientific family of companies, is seeking a regular, full-time Office Manager to join our team in Fishers, IN.

The position will work together with several areas of the company including customer service, accounting, purchasing, building maintenance, and management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist Purchasing with coordination of office supplies inventory and purchasing.
  • Assist Customer Service with organization and maintenance of customer invoices and shipping documents.
  • Assist Customer Service with processing of new customer credit reference checks.
  • Responsible for mailing customer invoices that are not automatically e-mailed.
  • Responsible for application of customer payments.
  • Responsible for processing customer credit card payments.
  • Assist Accounting Manager with Accounts Payable entry.
  • Responsible for filing company receipts and bill payments.
  • Responsible for emailing customer statements upon request.
  • Responsible for sending past due notices at 60 days to customers.
  • Assist Accounting Manager with customer accounts 90 days past due.
  • Responsible for greeting building visitors at the main entrance.
  • Responsible for retrieving and distributing company mail.
  • Serve as backup to Customer Service for answering phones.
  • Responsible for all other administrative tasks as necessary.
