The University of Findlay Assistant Professor and Clinical Coordinator in the Echocardiography Program in Findlay, Ohio

The Diagnostic Services Department within the College of Health Professions at The University of Findlay invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor and Clinical Coordinator in the Echocardiography Program faculty member. The earliest start date for this position is May 10, 2024.

The ideal candidate will have a Doctoral degree in a relevant field. An individual with a master's or bachelor's degree and relevant experience will be considered for a non-tenure track appointment at the rank of instructor. The applicant will be certified as an Echocardiography Sonographer with appropriate licensure and certification, and have relevant clinical experience. Experience in supervising/teaching, and scholarship are preferred.

The ideal candidate will be an individual with a passion for the profession and a vision for professional education, experience with accreditation, and a record of professional activity.  Strong communication skills and a desire to work with students in a setting that prides itself on providing close relationships between students and faculty are expected.  Candidates must be committed to student-centered education and able to travel large distances for off campus site visits. The faculty member will be expected to be actively involved in teaching, advising, departmental, university-wide, and community service.
