Job Summary

We are seeking afull-time person for Shipping Receivingfor our Fife, WAfacility.This position is 1^st^ shift. We are looking for an individual who is motivated, dedicated, and takes a sense of personal ownership, pride and responsibility in delivering quality products and superior service. This position requires you to load and secure crates and racks with our product. As a shipping/receiving person, you will pull orders, load, and off-load trucks with a fork-lift, pallet jack, or by hand. You will take care of customer will call orders and keep track of inventory and make adjustments as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

You are responsible for the building orders and loading of metal bundles, doors, and other products. You will prepare the metal by putting lining or padding material to protect items during shipment. You must pack and load items according to shipping needs, orders, or supervisors specifications, without constant supervision and work quickly, ensuring that the metal/doors are accurately loaded and packed. You will be responsible for completing clerical tasks with the ability to use shop floor computers and RF equipment. While loading and racking items you will conduct inspections, examine products to make sure they meet our specifications for quality and arent damaged. You will handle any needs of will-call customers and vendor drop-offs (UPS, FedEx, and our trucks).

Muscular, cardiovascular, and upper/lower body manipulation is used to move the metal/object through the door fabrication process (bending, twisting, and reaching). Gripping, cupping, clamping hand and wrist motions are required to support, carry, and maneuver objects to platform heights of three feet in a manner considered safe for self and others. The on/off-loading of metal from, tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours daily. Our shipping/receiving department is subject to the same general climate conditions of the region (heat, cold, humidity, etc.). You must have the ability to perform general mathematical equations, ability to read and comprehend shop paperwork. You will also be responsible for cleaning the shipping area and ensuring all safety procedures are followed Employment contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation and pre-employment physical and drug screening.

Rate of Pay starting at $22 per hour, depending upon experience.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Must speak, read, and understand English to understand and communicate paperwork and labels Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively read and use a tape measure Must be able to work overtime if needed, including Saturday work depending on production needs All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production Ability to use machinery and hand tools to fabricate products

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for 8-10 hours (or more) on your feet wearing approved steel-toed
