Murrey's Disposal, a Waste Connections Company, is hiring for a dynamic and talented Operations Supervisor In Training in our Tacoma market.
Responsibilities:
Approaching all encounters with employees, customers, and vendors in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
Support management of daily administrative operations including establishing work priorities; assist in resolving problems related to the day-to-day operations of the team.
Support oversight, coordination, maintenance, and/or processing payroll time sheets, sick and annual leave documentation.
Assist with the development and implementation of processes and procedures; support maintenance of department records and/or inventories.
Promote Waste Connections standard operating procedures, which assure efficient environmentally correct and safe workplace practices.
Demonstrate the ability to become proficient in the use of proprietary operational systems.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of management experience required.
Ability to relocate for career advancement opportunities required.
College degree preferred.
Experience with Microsoft suite of applications – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Experience with ordering supplies, equipment, and/or services, and inventory control.
Organizing and coordinating skills.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
Ability and willingness to obtain Commercial Driver’s License (company assistance provided).
Pay: Starting wage will be $31.00/Hr.
