Position Available Date: April 22, 2024 Title: On-Air Program Director - WMGC/WDMK Location: Detroit, MI Description: Beasley Media Group - Detroit is looking for an On-Air Program Director to lead our Rhythmic AC, 105.1 The Bounce, and Urban AC, 105.9 KISS FM brands to the next level. We are looking for a creative and strategic leader who understands the unique dynamics of both formats, can manage the content, programming, and digital initiatives for both brands, perform a daily on-air shift, and work with other departments to grow ratings, digital audience, and revenue. Must be able to lead and inspire a team, identify and seize content / promotional opportunities, and possess strong organizational skills. Qualifications: • A minimum of 3 years on-air and programming experience in rhythmic, Urban, Urban AC, rhythmic AC, and / or CHR with ratings success; • A substantial understanding of station operations (Wide Orbit, G-Selector & Adobe Audition proficiency a plus), and FCC rules; • A strong background in digital & social media; • Ability to write and post topical/engaging content daily on the station's web site and social media platforms while adhering to company guidelines; • Capability to meet deadlines, work under pressure, perform well in a team environment with excellent attention to detail; • Ability to perform a daily on-air shift.
