Lake Region Healthcare Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Orthopedics/Sports Med Clinic in Fergus Falls, Minnesota
The purpose of this position is to provide nursing care to patients. The LPN has contact with patients, patient families and visitors, hospital employees, referral agencies, volunteers, administration, and physicians. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this position. The LPN will also: Plan and manage patient care according to each patient s needs. Interview patients and record their medical history. Obtain patient vital signs and escort patients to the exam room. Administer injections of medications Verify that patient charts are updated promptly and accurately. Observe and record patients conditions and reactions to medications and treatments. Department Description You ll have the opportunity to help patients in all stages of life and make meaningful connections every day. Shifts will be Monday- Thursday from 8am-5pm, and half days Friday from 8am-12pm.
