Who We Want

Miller Industries is seeking a General Labor - Maintenance to work on our 1st Shift. The hours are 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday, with overtime as required on weekends for production.

 

What You Will Be Doing

  • Undertake occasional seasonal tasks (e.g. shoveling snow from sidewalk, weeding flower beds).
  • Break down pallets.
  • Move or preparing parts, materials, and tools for assembly operations.
  • Load and unload parts or product onto fixtures.
  • Maintain workspace and proper cleaning, dusting, mopping and maintenance of equipment.
  • Keep plant and work area clean and orderly and notify supervisor concerning the need for any repairs.
  • Ensure safety guidelines are being met to assure a safe work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

What Requirements Are Needed

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Candidate must exhibit basic mechanical skills such as working with hand-held power tools and measuring devices.
  • Experience in manual labor, skilled trades, construction, or manufacturing positions.
  • Ability to multi-task various projects with high level of detail.
  • Must be able to demonstrate ability to follow directions, produce quality work, and maintain safe and positive work environment.
  • Must be willing to work indoors and outdoors as required.
