World Vision is hiring a Procurement Contract Administrator to serve on the Vendor Contract Services (VCS)Team.

At a Glance

Role:   Procurement Contract Administrator

Location: Federal Way, WA – World Vision US Headquarters. This is a Hybrid role. Candidates must be able to come into the office once a week.

Reports to: Director, Vendor Contract Services

Required experience: Two-year technical or junior college degree or equivalent work experience (four years). In addition, to education equivalent, requires general business work experience, preferably working with vendors; 1 year. - OR- Bachelors degree in related field, with related experience preferred. Knowledge of all MS Office Suite - including MS teams. Experience with NetSuite, is a plus. S trong customer service and communication skills - verbal and written.

Salary Range: $22.50 - $32.92. Please note the typical hiring range is $25.00 - $28.00 an hour. A different range may apply based on your work location. The salary range applies to locations with a market similar to our U.S. HQ in the Greater Seattle area. Job offers within the range are based on relevant job qualifications and pay equity. The Job

World Vision is looking for a Procurement Contract Administrator to provide vendor contract administration services and purchasing services to various business owners throughout World Vision U.S. for purchases and/or contracts that are typically less than $250,000, and are of minimal complexity, requirements are clearly defined and standard in industry. Help carry out our Christian organization’s mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Perform contract administration duties in alignment with departmental guidelines, including:

  • Initiate purchases with suppliers

  • Verification of agreement terminology, ensuring language is in compliance with WVUS Legal department

  • Administer background and anti-terror checks according to WVUS policy

  • Issue Purchase Orders

  • Ensure purchases are approved and signed according to WVUS policy

  • Record and file documentation (purchases/agreements/approvals)

  • Advise business owner of agreement termination and renewal dates

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Maintain awareness of corporate goals, objectives, organizational announcements, and activities. Reference and follow organizational policies and procedures, seeking clarity as needed.

    You Bring These Skills:

  • Contract Management: Demonstrates knowledge of aspects of contract management, including contract negotiation, schedule and contract requirements, and supplier evaluation.

  • Oral and Written Communication: Effectively expresses ideas, thoughts and concepts verbally and in writing, using correct grammar, organization and structure, and effective presentation media and techniques. Use appropriate media and approach.

  • Procurement: Demonstrates a working knowledge of procurement processes and procedures for the acquisition of products and services to meet relief and development ministry requirements.

  • Computer Skills: Demonstrates effective computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office Suite, NetSuite, intranet and Internet, and various software applications and databases used in work efforts.

    Education and Experience:

  • Two-year technical or junior college degree or equivalent work experience (four years).
