Job Summary about the area and the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant with knowledge in lease 16 accounting, PPA, Internal Control, IFRS guidance and Technical accounting to join their team. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the lease accounting Team, the PPA process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards IFRS, the liaison with External auditors and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making within the organization. You will also support Month end and year-end close activities, assisting with initial Internal control evaluations and manage you project related to closing, BS reconciliation, Statutory adjustment and new project based on the company need and evolution.

This position is full-time onsite in the Trevose, PA office with some hybrid flexibility.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of lease accounting, in accordance with the latest accounting standards (IFRS 16).
  • Assisting the consolidation process and help implementing the fast closing.
  • Oversee the PPA accounting / amortization
  • Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance
  • Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures
  • Preparing financial analyses and reports
  • Liaising with both internal and external auditors and other external bodies
  • Establish, implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, communicate progress, develop a plan and execute effectively
  • Provides assistance to timely and accurately address financial questions or concerns.
  • Assist with process improvement in day-to-day operations and department workflow optimization
  • Direct, lead, and coach the direct reports team. Foster a positive and inclusive team environment and support personal career development.
  • Develop and foster customer centric center of excellence to internal and external stakeholders. Establish goals, key initiatives, and priorities for the team

Qualifications

 

Education & Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree
  • CPA
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting or finance,
  • Experience in a multi-site environment (ideal)

Preferred:

  • Global experience
  • Complex accounting treatment
